Mandalay Bay Convention Center hosted the 14th Annual HR Technology Conference. Broadbean Technology's US Operation attended and exhibited in full force, manning a booth, meeting and greeting, as well as hosting after-hours activities. Proud of growth in North America, Broadbean US brought the California beach to Las Vegas, literally. With little pomp and circumstance, Broadbean built a boardwalk, imported California sand, propped up a custom surfboard, and rode a wave of exposition success.

"This is exactly what I wanted!" exclaimed Kelly Robinson, Broadbean Founder and CEO, as the Exposition Hall doors opened and HR Professionals and Tech Vendors poured in. Broadbean is known for its innovation and unique style and this year's booth proved reason for that understanding. Rayanne Thorn, US Director of Marketing explains, "We wanted to do something completely different and unexpected. Hard to do when your quirkiness is and has always been part of your charm. Broadbean continues to push the limits in every aspect. Our customers appreciate it and our potential customers are intrigued by it. And isn't that what it's all about?"
Broadbean hired an Emmy Award-Winning Designer, Wally Huntoon, he and his scenic team went all out to create the "beach". Ten gallons of sand were surreptitiously spread about the booth to increase the dramatic appeal while sandpipers and a seagull stood watch. Ice cream cones and beach towels completed the allure. With an Expo hall full of boring banners and LCD displays, the beach was a welcome retreat.
When all was said and done, just one thought came to mind: "What will they do next year?"
I guess you'll have to drop by to find out!
