We pick our Beans fresh, then nurture and care for them so they flourish.
The Serious Stuff
At the Bean, we strike a healthy balance between work and play. Our offices are filled with laughter but employees also know when to get serious. If our staff need compassionate, sickness, or maternity/paternity leave, we do our best to meet their needs and ensure they rejoin our safe and happy environment when they are ready to return. The Bean is a diverse pod full of all shapes, colors, and ages - and that's exactly how we like it.
Newbs (New Beans)
A Bean welcome is a happy one. Newbs are given a warm welcome with balloons and treats on their first day. They also have a designated buddy who works on a different team who gives guidance and advice through the first two weeks on the job. A buddy takes the Newb out for lunch on the first day, informs them of the company's policies, and shows them around the office & surrounding area.
A Day in the Life of a Bean
Birthdays are fun and we want to make sure that our staff enjoy themselves. So we give them a day off after the celebration. We also give bonus days off for volunteering and charity work.
Our Offices
Broadbean staff can spend more time at work than with their loved ones, so we endeavor to make our work environment as comfortable and relaxed, as possible. Our staff sit in the most ergonomic chairs, eat a breakfast we provide and lounge on a sun-drenched roof patio, if the weather permits (not such a problem in the US and Australia). We make sure coming to work is a joy rather than a chore and that's how we get the best from our team.
Broadbean Social - Our Nights Out
Bean Nights Out are bundles of fun and we have them as often as we can. We've attended some brilliant award ceremonies and we often host nights for the entire team to reward them for their hard work. Standards are high at Broadbean but targets are realistic. We always reach those targets and treat our staff well for doing so.
