You and your role:
The purpose of this 360 sales role is to generate new business leads through a variety of different avenues, identifying the clients’ needs and closing new business deals increasing Broadbean’s coverage across UK and Ireland. The role is 100% new business focussed and your target market is the ever growing recruitment agency space. You will be conducting cold calls as well as demonstrating the Broadbean software solution via a screen-share platform and, where necessary, in onsite meetings.
You will be:
- Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual targets
- New Business prospecting and daily cold calling
- Pitching and presenting to senior decision makers (Directors & MD’s) over the phone
- Selling Broadbean and potentially other brands which sit under the CareerBuilder (Parent Company) umbrella
- Keeping up-to-date with changes and upcoming trends in the recruitment industry
- Expected to manage your own individual sales pipeline and estimated revenue
- Maximising networking opportunities and regularly going to conferences, events and trade shows to increase awareness and develop a further network of contacts
Ideal candidates will have:
- 2-3 years Recruitment background
- Outbound cold calling experience and a proven pedigree in closing sales
- Hunger and drive with a view for longer term progression
- A high level of initiative as well as being a good team player
- Excellent organisational skills
- A strong desire to learn and grow as a sales person
- A high degree of self-motivation
- A passion for selling and relationship building
- A strategic sales approach
Requirements – Essential:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience within Business Development/New Business role/Recruitment Consultant role
- Experience working in recruitment or at least some exposure to the recruitment industry
- Self - starter who is target-driven and motivated. You must be comfortable in a target oriented environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (telephone, written and face-to-face)
- Consultative sales skills. This role requires a blend of soft sell approach and hard sell closure
- Excellent time management
- The ideal candidate will be determined, positive and articulate with a real willingness to learn
