A day in the life of a beaner
Each day is different and really (no, REALLY) fun. Although we take our job very seriously, it helps that we don't apply the same rules to ourselves.
Although we are a much bigger team than we were at the start of our journey, we still talk and collaborate across continents every day, focused on what our clients really want - the very best recruitment technology.
Take a look at our vacancies and apply today to be part of the Broadbean team.
The purpose of the role is to consult and build tight relationships with customers during their implementation of our software to ensure the best user experience. In this role you will set up the client accounts, take ownership of customer issues and demonstrate a relentless passion to provide timely resolutions, and above all, deliver a great customer experience.
Senior Product Manager & Manager of Business Change
Region: London, United Kingdom
As Manager of Business Change, you will draw on your deep understanding of product development lifecycle processes to lead a team of Product Managers and Project Managers to help invent, shape and deliver the products driving the business. You will provide guidance and coaching to the team members of all levels and work with them to introduce, develop and standardise effective tools and processes for managing and communicating requirements and tracking deliverables.
This is a hands-on product management role and you will be responsible for ensuring that you and the team are effectively engaging with customers and internal stakeholders in order to define and drive an exciting and innovative big picture vision, while also delivering improvements to functionality and profitability of existing products. You will need to be an excellent communicator and build great relationships with clients, other business units and senior management, while also having sufficient technical understanding to be able to visualise solutions to their problems and engage effectively with development teams in order that they will share that vision. You will be involved throughout the product development lifecycle as an agile product owner, but also through leading the Project Managers to ensure delivery is well organised and efficient, and that project timelines and progress are managed and clearly communicated.
Region: London, United Kingdom
You will be working within our software delivery teams to help plan, estimate and deliver features and enhancements on our core products as well as strategic projects. You will be expected to track the progress of the delivery against estimates and be able to clearly communicate the effect of variance from the estimates on other items in the team's backlog and company's strategic roadmap.
As an Agile coach you will be working with the team and empowering them to iteratively improve upon their processes to increase visibility, teamwork and cooperation, quality and throughput. You will always be seeking to identify MVP, advocating releasing early and often, and reducing time to market while also reducing risk through effective testing strategies. You will work closely with the development teams throughout in order to help them remove bottlenecks and reduce frustrations with existing process and toolchain.
